Top in-demand courses to study that leads to Australia residency

Sharing is caring :)

If you are looking to study a program which is in-demand, meaningful and maybe pays well but most importantly – stands a good opportunity to migrate to Australia, you are at the right place.

Australia is one of the largest country to receive immigrants, since 1945, over 7.5 million overseas people have settled in Australia helping to establish it as one of the most culturally diverse and multicultural countries in the developed world. According to the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS)’s research, around 29.2% of Australia’s legal resident population was born overseas, this percentage is much higher than most other Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) countries.

A large part of the immigration program is served for skilled migrants – people who possess in-demand skills to meet the needs to boost the Australian economy. Every year the Australia’s skilled occupation list will be updated to reflect the needs of the government. Though there are many options on the list, each occupation has a limited number of places being offered to applicants. For example, if you are considering applying for Australia residency through an Accounting Occupation (ANZSCO Code: 221111) there will be 2 challenges waiting for you.

First you will need to meet the point score of at least 80 points to stand a chance of receiving an invitation. The second challenge is that each month the government only releases a fixed number of invitations to applicants (there may be only 2000 invited while there are over 5000 applicants – in this scenario, you only have a 40% success rate)

In this article we will recommend some of the top occupation which we think have a high chance to apply for residency with minimal competition. This is due to the fact that it has lower points requirement and less competition from other applicants.
