Fortunately, institutions provide a variety of scholarships to international students to help them meet their financial commitments.   • applicants will be notified whether they have been awarded the scholarship in their Letter of Offer

Studying a Deakin undergraduate or postgraduate coursework (including honours) from the Faculty of Science, Engineering and Built Environment (SEBE)^

20% of tuition fees

#4 Western Sydney University

Vice-Challencor Academic Excellence Undergraduate Scholarships  

achieved a minimum ATAR of 90 or equivalent in a completed higher secondary study

Western Sydney International Scholarships 

  • Satisfy the minimum entry level requirements
  • All new applicants for admission will be automatically considered for a scholarship, no application needed
  • Awards are granted on academic achievement

Up to AUS$3,000 – AUS$6,000 per year

#5 Edith Cowan University

  • All applicants from selected countries who meet the criteria are automatically eligible for this scholarship
  • Meet ECU’s higher entry requirements and commence study in the course during the 2022 intake

2022 ECC Pathway Merit Scholarship

  • Offered to all international students who apply for a diploma pathway with ECC, packaged into an undergraduate program by coursework
  • Achieve a WAM of 75 or above in the ECC Diploma Program

2022 International Australian Alumni Scholarship

  • Have completed, or due to complete by 31 July 2022, one of the following qualifying programs in Australia

#6 University of Technology Sydney (UTS)

UTS Vice-Chancellor’s International Undergraduate Scholarship

  • Have an overall average of 85% where the pass mark is 50% or equivalent in a UTS recognized high school qualification

Up to 20% of tuition fees

Undergraduate Academic Excellence International Scholarship

  • Academic merit in the academic qualification will be used as the basis of admission
  • The Scholarship will be awarded to the highest ranked applicant on the basis of academic merit in the academic qualification used as a basis for admission into the selected UTS Bachelor degree program coupled with the applicant’s response to the questions asked in the UTS online scholarship application.

#7 The University of Newcastle

ASEAN Excellence Scholarship

  • International students from Southeast Asian countries such as Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Singapore, Thailand, The Philippines and Vietnam
  • Scholarships are automatically applied for upon application to the University (where eligibility criteria is met). Successful students will receive notification of the value of their scholarship with their offer

AU$10,000 for each year of study, apportioned over each course taken

#8 TAFE NSW

TAFE NSW International Scholarship

  • The scholarship option awarded to you depends on your ability to meet certain criteria and minimum requirements
  • A 25% scholarship (applicable for the full duration of your course), or
  • A total scholarship value of AUD$2,000 (applicable for the first two semesters of your course)
