What are Politics and International Studies about?

Politics and International Studies focuses on the world in which we live collectively and the ways in which it became what it is today and continues to change. It considers the choices that political actors, from governments to citizens to international institutions, analyses the ways in which people have tried to make sense of the political and international worlds and the political context in which they have done so. By studying politics and international studies, you will get to explore world issues from human rights to economic development, war, security threats, peace and the bigger challenges and opportunities that globalization brings.

As a diplomat, your main responsibility is to maintain the good relations between countries, represent and protect a nation’s interest abroad in terms of politics, trade and consular services.

2. Intelligence Specialist

As an intelligent specialist, you will be in charge of collecting and analysing operational intelligence data, conducting mission reports, using data maps and charts and evaluating the results and preparing reports, statistics and graphics.

3. Political analyst
