Psychology is the science of behavior and mental process. It also refers to the application of knowledge, which can be used to understand events, treat mental health issues, and improve education, employment, and relationships. A psychologist seeks to understand the behavior of people who act in certain ways and solve the issues, boosting productivity in the workplace or understand consumer behavior.
Psychologists and psychiatrists cooperate together in work to aid people with mental health conditions, but both of them have different roles. A psychologist treats a patient through psychotherapy, helping to relieve symptoms through behavioral change.
