Author's take

Back in the days when I was a foundation student, my senior always said if you were to study Mass Communication, just go to Monash University. Monash University is always the ‘go to’ university for Mass Communication program. Strong ranking standing for its Communication & Media Studies subject in the QS World University Ranking 2018 does speak for itself (ranked 51-100). Monash University does not fail to deliver on the Arts & Social Science faculty despite having several faculties in the campus. However, the program fee for Monash University may cost more as compared to other colleges. No worries! There are still plenty of University/College to choose. KDU University’s alumni benefited from the facilities provided by KDU as advertised in ‘TheStar’ newspaper. The state-of-art facilities is a big bonus for the student who studies Mass Communication as it gives you hands-on experience on your coursework.

Students that study at INTI University will be filled with challenge and joy. This is because there are more than 200 events organized by the student club at INTI University (Nilai campus) annually. Be sure to take up any role in an event or club be it photographer or event leader, this will enhance your employability in the future. On the other hands, UCSI requires the student to intern each year (compulsory) for its 3-year Mass Communication degree program. Therefore, students will become an industry expert prior to their graduation giving them a competitive edge over the others upon graduation. On the other hand, students might be unfamiliar towards IACT College as they kept a much lower profile as compared to the other college. But we cannot ignore that IACT College was founded by Malaysian Advertisers Association (MAA) and Association of Accredited Advertising Agents Malaysia (4As). The student is enabled to develop themselves by learning from the industry expert at IACT College that is founded by the industry itself.
